MY TRAINING
Welcome! I’m delighted to welcome you to Sanahata and guide you on a journey of healing, self-discovery, and spiritual exploration.
As a former gymnast, my journey began at a young age with discipline, movement, and the exploration of the mind-body connection. This foundation instilled in me a lifelong appreciation for the intricate relationship between our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
With your safety and well-being in mind, I have completed CPR/First Aid training and obtained certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). My approach is grounded in care, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to supporting others.
My pursuit of knowledge has taken me across diverse fields of study. Through exploring evolutionary psychology, sociology, plant science, and pre-medicine, I have sought to deepen my understanding of human nature and the complex relationship between our biology, behavior, and lived experience.
Yet, my curiosity about healing extended beyond conventional education. Over the years, I have immersed myself in learning from Indigenous communities, developing relationships with traditional practitioners and exploring the wisdom carried through generations. I have had the privilege of studying with the Yawanawá, Huni Kuin, and Noke Koi peoples, each offering unique perspectives on traditional knowledge, ceremony, and our relationship with the natural world.
My journey has also included intensive training in Kambo with Huni Kuin practitioners, deepening my understanding of this traditional practice and the cultural context in which it is held. Through my experiences with Shipibo traditions, I have further explored sacred ceremonies and expanded my appreciation for the depth and diversity of Amazonian healing traditions.
Today, I continue learning from a Mestizo maestro of Peruvian and Colombian descent, whose medicinal knowledge and teachings have been passed down through his family lineage. These ongoing relationships remain an important part of my personal and spiritual development.
With my training in Huni Kuin Kambo and a deep respect for the traditions I have encountered, I approach this work with humility, discernment, and a commitment to honoring the people and cultures who have shared their knowledge with me.
Through Sanahata, I bring together the lessons of my personal journey, my continued studies, and my experiences with traditional practices to create opportunities for deeper self-awareness, personal growth, and reconnection.
I invite you to join me on this journey of exploration—to reconnect with yourself, embrace the lessons life has to offer, and discover new possibilities for growth and transformation.
MY STORY
For the past thirteen years, my journey has continued through a deepening relationship with traditional healing practices and the Indigenous communities who have generously shared their knowledge and traditions with me. Through my experiences with different tribes and lineages, I have continued learning, growing, and developing a deeper appreciation for the wisdom held within these ancient traditions.
Today, I live and work alongside Brazilian communities in the Amazon rainforest, where I continue to learn, strengthen relationships, and deepen my understanding of traditional ways of life. These connections have become an important part of my path, teaching me the importance of humility, discernment, respect, and responsibility when approaching sacred traditions.
My work has evolved into more than a personal practice. Through Sanahata, I aim to build meaningful bridges between people seeking healing and the trusted communities and practitioners with whom I have developed relationships. I also share complementary practices that support personal preparation, self-awareness, embodiment, and integration throughout the healing journey.
I believe that meaningful transformation begins with a willingness to look within, reconnect with ourselves, and take an active role in our own growth. My approach brings together the lessons of lived experience, the practices I have explored over the years, and the wisdom I continue to learn through my relationships with traditional communities.
My journey is still unfolding, and I invite you to explore it with me. Through Sanahata, I share the practices, insights, experiences, and connections that have shaped my path, with the hope of supporting others in their own journeys of healing, personal growth, and self-discovery.
